Our Story
I was bored and uninspired by the nut butter market. Most of what I could find was packed with unnecessary flavours, palm oil, salt, or sugar. And there were hardly any almond butters around (mostly peanut butters instead).
I knew what I wanted. I wanted an artisanal almond butter made with quality ingredients; I wanted a moreish and bold flavour; I wanted something sophisticated and inspiring.
After trying nut butter after nut butter I couldn’t find what I was looking for so, I made it myself.
And that’s how DEEP Almond Butter came to be.
I refined the recipe for months on end using Marcona almonds for their inherent decadence and Ferragnes almonds, for their sweetness.
After much trial and error, the result is the complex, elegant flavour you can enjoy in every jar of DEEP Almond Butter.
